I am working part time and last income shown was 17600. My lawyer says its too low income u need to get a sponseror? We are family of 4.//2 kids and me and my wife. Can any body suggest what should I do in this situation . I hv to file I 485???

Does your wife work? If she does, she can join your sponsor. Or you can ask your parents or anyone who closes to you to join you.

no, my wife doesnot work She is on H4. My parents are in India. I have my friend who has sighned 864 for me. But the lawyer says that form is 4 family sponsership only.Comment

So you don't have any family member here with you?
Are you working full time this year now? If you are, you can file the application and when you have interview, USCIS officer will ask you for your new paycheck of this year... and if you make enough money, you will be ok.
I had interview 3 weeks ago and my husband just brought home $13,000.00 after tax in 2006, so the interviewer asked my husband his paycheck for this year and asked how much my husband making now. After looking through everything, interviewer said that we're ok.

Well, I have my family members but I have applied thru employment based 485 and lawyer said that sponsorship is basically for family based immigartion. But yes I will be working full time after I get my work authorisation. Which Ihope i shld get within this year.

So your lawyer said that no one can join your sponsor? I think it's weird, have you done any research about that? Just don't trust so much what people say, you have to do your own research no matter what.
I just got my green card. And i am planing to travel back my country soon.
