  • RE: Request for Initial Evidence

I received an RFE on 08/22 and i mailed out the requested documents on 08/24, now i want to know how long will it take for any type of movement in my case and if this will be posted on case status online at uscis?

p.s. unluckily, i also had to change my address on 08/23 because my mail was delivered to my landlord instead of my p. o. box. how long does it take for address change (electronic) to be effective?

    Requested for Initial Evidence

    Hello,
I have the same situation. USCIS requested for Initial Evidence on July 29th, all documents emailed on August 1st. So, today - August 29th. I steel have no response yet. Made Info Pacc appointment for August 31.
    Thanks.

        Request for Initial Evidence.

O yes of curse: I have called twice to the customer service, I have been checked the status about my case on online ( and still checking every day) , but unfortunately I have no updating news at all. So I made an appointment for tomorrow/ August 31ts - 12:30 P.M. to the Info PACC at Federal Plaza, New York. Hopefully will receive some good news by tomorrow.
My Biometric has been done on August 2nd ( they have it on computer system, thank God!)
I will let you know tomorrow by evening time. Keep smiling and safe.
        Good luck!!!
        Lena

P.S. Please provide more details about your situation. ( Filed office, what kind of documents they are looking for and how about your biometric?)

              Hi Geni,
I am glad and happy for you that your change of address was processed- it's really a good news.
I still have no news about my situation. I have sent all of the requested documents by regular post service 08/01( maybe that my problem) and still have no idea if they got everything. Hopefully USCIS has received it.....
By the way : did you send your request by express service or mailed by regular post as me?
              Anyway - Good luck!!
              Lena
