I 485 filing

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have two labor cetification approved. one from my wife's employer and other one is my employer. My wife's I140 is already approved and her priority dated was September 30, 2005 and mine is April 30, 2001. I have not file I140 yet. My wife's employer just filed I 485 two days ago. My question is can I file I 140 and I 485 now ? Is there any problem to file housband and wife file seperately I 485?
how about priority date? If i can file, will my case faster than her because of priority date?

You can file I-485 as a dependent of your wife.

Or you can file I-140 and I-485 through your employer if your priority date is current.

There is no problem in husband and wife applying for I-485 separately.
