I-485 Long long due, Please advice

My I-485 received date is: 13 Nov 2001.
Finger printing done in June 2002
RFE responded in Feb 2004.

My AOS approval is long due as VSC is processing April 2002 cases, while mine is Nov 2001. And I have not received 2nd finger printing notice yet (as first one could have been expired by now). Is there a way to communicate with INS officer to get the status and possibly expedite my I-485 case which is long due?

(The customer service was not much of help as it does not provide any information about the status and they did not transfer to INS officer in spite of several requests. Expedite request by fax also did not help as all that responce says is that processing has been delayed. Please, please advice.)

Lot's of waiting

The thing that really stinks the most, is literally, you are going to have to continue to call them until you talk to a real person. Push the button that says you are hearing impaired or something. My wife will call and most times it is at least thirty minutes on hold. Unfortunately, this may not help you much and chances are good the person on the phone won't help much either but it is certainly worth it anyways.
