How long after the stamp???

Hi,
My interview was on June 14th 2007. The officer stamped my passport then and said the GC would be in the mail after FBI would complete background checking. Does anybody have an idea of how long it can take?

From what I know, FBI background check could take a while. I believe it could take up to 2 years.
