after interview I- 485 pending what does it mean

my wife and i had our I 485 INTERVIEW TODAY IN GARDEN CITY, at the end the officer said they have not recieved my background check result as yet, even though i already recieved my EAD and they wrote A **** **** * I-485 pending GCU. 9/5/07 their signature and told me i will recieve notice in mail what does this mean

Did he say he would approve you? would you say that the interview went well? was the officer convinced by your marriage?

It means, that when he gets the results (which he should have had them) of your FBI namecheck he would approve your case if your name cleared and if not, then you are stuck in the namecheck process and must wait until it clears...

I would just sit and wait at least 30 days, then If you have still heard nothing from him... then make an infopass https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/ appointment and check on the status of your case.

i asked her if i passed she did not say yes or no all she said was wait until my fbi name check returns, and i will recieve a decision in the mail. The interview went well to me, she was nice at all times, the last thing she said was dont travel wait for letter. what do you think? what does this mean( A **** **** * I-485 pending GCU. 9/5/07 their signature )
