I know some people have gone through this and just wanted to get some feedback. I had my AOS interview on 08/30/07 and it went pretty well, except that the last question we were asked was to submit proof of citizenship of my wife's aunt who was a co-sponsor for the affidavit of support. We did not have the proof (didn't know we needed it), but the lady asked us to fill out the I-864A using my income from last year (she knows i am currently unemployed) in the waiting room and leave it in her mail box. She said that once she gets the form, there's no reason she shouldn't approve the application. She wrote "pending approval sec 245 cr.6" and she said I should be receiving my green card in about 2 months. Anyone gone through something like this? I know it's only been a cpl of weeks, but there's been no updates online on the case....getting a little nervous.

I looks normal, except that USCIS is really swamped right now... so for now, wait until it has been 30 days and make an infopass https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/ appointment and inquire about the status of your case.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
