Issue Of I 485 Application Receipt

Hi,
I had sent my I-485 application to Nebraska Center using Express Service of USPS. The application was delivered on 27th July at the designated PO Box. As per the latest USCIS bulletin (dated Sept 7th), receipts for application reaching on or before 29th July has been issued. But my checks have not been encashed till date.

Is anybody else in a similar situation?

I hope this latest important alerts (dated November 30, 2007), i.e., “USCIS Application and Receipting Update” at USCIS web site will give some relief.
