filing I-485(AOS) after 90 days or K1 visa expired..pls..help

Hi, I entered in the U.S with K1 visa. We got married within 90 days but was not able to sent my AOS before my visa expires because of some reason. My visa expired last sept. 26, 2007 and we just mailed my AOS application sept.28, 2007. I am so worried now, would it be a problem?

If anyone know and can comment on this matter, I will appreciate it very much if you will let me know.

It is fine, not a problem for as long as you have proof you got married within 90 days of your arrival. Your marriage certificate should be enough proof.

Just relax and enjoy the immigration process

Thank you so much for your reply. I need it very much because I am so stress now for worrying because I really don't know what's the deal if applied after my 90 days (I-94) expired and yet we mailed late my AOS. SO now I have peace of mind.
