Fingerprint Fee rejected
I filed through an attorney my AOS - 485 on July 2nd and received a recepit notice from Nebraska Service Center. But when I checked online tha staus of my case, it said that on September 10, 2007 they rejected my fingerprinting fee and mailed a notice to make a repayment. Till then the case is in Suspense.
What does it imply by "the case is in suspense now"? Does it mean its on hold till they receive the payment?
Also, the attorney paid the fingerprinting fee again on September 18, 2007 along with copy of the earlier check as well. But till date, the USCIS website is still showing the same old status as of September 10, 2007. Does it take this long to at least update the status? Is this normal time period?
Since I haven't received I765 notice for EAD either till date, I assume this might be holding it up too. Correct?
All the seniors, please advise as I am getting really anxious.
