I have two questions:
1) My husband is a US citizen and an active duty soldier, i recently filed all my paper-work(green card,work permit etc etc) we found out that he will be deploying to iraq in dec. Is there a way for me to request to have my paper-work processed faster? what will i do if they call me for the interview?

2. how do i get my work permit sooner than the processing times. I am a Registered nurse but i am unable to work because i am yet to get my work permit.............im getting tired of being a house wife

Hi there!

1. I don't think USCIS will process your paperwork faster because your husband is deployed, at least they didn't do it for me. If you get scheduled for an interview and he is out there you will probably have to reschedule it for another time.

2. Everybody who applies for EAD is in a big hurry like you so all we can do is wait for our turn.
