Hi,

I filled my I-485 on 30th Aug 2002 and recieved my work permit on Oct 1st 2002.

My company is now laying me off along with others.

Can someone please inform me with my available options.

Layoff !!

I am assuming you will get a job with other company soon.

In the above scenario, you are fine as long as INS does not approve your application within 180 days.
