I 485 applied in July - Checks not cleared

My I 485 application reached on July 19th. My checks not cleared so far...anyone in similar status. Wat we can do?

my application was received july 18th at MSC. I sent money order so i don't know if that cleared yet, but at least one of my cases was already entered in the system because we received initial RFE, however, we have not received any other notice since for our other applications (filed I-130, I-485 plus required documents).

i called the help line but they told me to call back after 90 days, which a few days ago, but i haven't had time yet to call back because the time difference. i guess we are not alone.

don't give up. call the help line or arrange for infopass.

My husband's application reached TSC on july 29th and still we havent received any receipts and his check is not yet cleared too

a lot of the time they will send the receipt to the wrong address. Like when I got my letter/receipts from the mail box there was an extra letter/receipt for somebody in new york. And I live in CA. But they send a receipt for every application so you should get at least 1.

Oh and they don't take personal checks so that may be the problem.

I sent my application on july 17, they rec'd it july 20th and I got my first receipt August 28 or so

USCIS does take personal checks.
