FBI name check

I applied for my AOS on the basis of marriage to USC on nov 6 2006. I got my EAD 3 months later and had interview on Oct 30 2007. The officer accepted that we are really married. I can see online status that I 130 is approved and approval notice is sent too. But my name was on FBI name check list. I know its hard to tell but if anyone had the same experience then please share with me.

I am in the same situation:
Applied for AOS on December 2006.
Interview and case approved on June 2007.
Then nothing else, name check is still pending... I heard some people wait so long for their name to clear that once it does they receive the permanent GC (?). Is that accurate?
Anyway, hope that it doesn't take that long for you.

I had my interview on sept 5th 2007 and was pending fbi name check, recieved welcome notice and green card on oct 1st 2007, i guess all we can do is wait, good luck.

Now, what if by the time the name check thing is over and the marriage has ended? What happens then?

I think once it gets to the point of name check none of this matters. But I don't understand how you would be out of status though (?).

Hi, Did you get any feedback on that question? I am in that exact situation. My husband and I are getting a divorce and my name check is pending. What should I do? Should I cancel my I-485 application by sending a letter to USCIS and asking them to withdraw it? How long does it take for them to cancel it? Am I going to be out of status when we divorce?
Please help!!!

I had my finger print on 6th Dec 2006. I am applying for EAD renewal. Do I need to get my finger print done again? How many days do you think it will take to renewal of EAD
