Finger Printing - Question - Urgent

Hello,

I and my wife moved from KY to CA recently. We filed for our I-485 while in KY and provided KY address on the application. We got our fingerprint appointments to be done in KY. Now since, we moved to CA, is it possible to get our fingerprints done in CA instead of in KY.

We applied for Change of Address online with USCIS.
We took an appointment with Infopass for the following options.

(Service - You need Service on a case that has already been filed.
Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.)

We are going to the Infopass center in CA prior to our fingerprint date in KY.
Are we in a better position or do we need to anything else? Do we need to intimate USCIS of our appointment with Infopass in CA?

Yes, you can.Do the following steps.

(1) You go to local ASC at CA on KY Appointment Date. They will accept. ( I also did last month, when I moved from TX)

(2) Do Address Change in USCIS Site. First you submit AR 11 and do rest of the pending application.

(3) You will confirmation note. Take printout (snap shot) for future references.

(4)You will get official confimation by mail (USPS) in two weeks. Normally, the site says 90 days.

Thanks for the reply. I am little relieved. Rather than going to Infopass on our KY appointment date, we took appointment for an earlier date to be safe.
Also, did you had to intimate anything to USCIS since you didn't goto Texas.
