I usually check my case online but there is nothing new.
My application was in Sept. 2005. My fingerprint were cleared and I had an interviewed on March 28th, 2006 for my adjustment of status 1-485. (My daughter had petition for me).
Until now they (USCIS) said that they can't do anything until FBI Dept. clear the background check. It has been 1 year 7 months and I got the same answer whenever I go to the Seattle USCIS office. Is there a phone number or a way you could help check with FBI dept. what is going on and why it takes so long.
