      Thanks for your reply,

I used to stay in NJ, Now I moved to CA. So when my brother sending papers from NJ to CA throgh UPS, the package got lost. I am keep cheking the tracking number, it says package is lost.

And my appointment date is on wednes day. Any suggestions what to do.
Has any body had similar situation?

I have got my I-485 reciept number, Would they allow us for finger printing without the appointment letter?

      Thanks

There is a number on the finger printing appointment paper where you can call to reschedule the apointment. You can call that number and try your best. Also enquire your compnay atorney, they might contact USCIS on your behalf.Did your brother take a copy of that before sending that to you?

I hope your brother made copies before he sent the docs to you. in that case things would be easier, you can just take a copy.

In any case take the I-485 receipt and photo-id with you for the appointment and explain the situation.

            Lost finger print appointment paper

Thanks for taking time to reply. I have just recieved the papers today. touchwood.

I went to INS by taking infopass, but I didn't got any help from them. So I suggest you guys, better not to loose that appointment letter. But when I spoke to the Immigrant officer, he was telling me we can even attend to the finger print without that letter. But it all depends on our luck.

            All the best.........
