Finger print notice

Hi,

I got my 485 receipt no on oct3rd. But still I haven't received my finger prints.I have my EAD and AP approved. All of my friends who applied with me are done with the finger print. Can i call USCIS and know the status of my finger print notice? Can anyone please reply my query

Same situation

I am also in the same situation and still haven't received any FP notice from USCIS, not sure on what exactly is going on....Last time when I called USCIS on this matter was on November 1st and I was informed by USCIS customer support that due to large volume of applications that were received its taking little longer to send notices for FP and I was asked to wait for 3-6 weeks since I received my EAD and AP approved notice.

Even though I received my approved EAD on October 17th my online status for EAD case still says "Current Status: Case received and pending"

If you have approved notice for EAD and/ or AP then do not worry. Delay due to large number of applications. Once you have FP done then it would not take much time for EAD card to arrive.

USCIS online status sometimes not updated for many reason. If you have approved EAD notice then do not pay attention. Standard wait time for EAD is 3-months but due to current influx of applications, it may take longer time. It is normal.

Already have EAD and AP

I already have EAD cards (without finger prints) & approved AP in hand. Its just that majority of my friends who applied at the same time frame received their FP notices prior to receiving their EAD cards and AP's and of course few are still waiting for FP notices just like me and I wasn't sure if this is a normal scenario.

Finger printing does not matter, they have had so many applications that they are now behind in scheduling the appointments.

they are even slow in updating online status.
dont worry if you dont get a letter by Dec 15 call and set up and Service request. But there is nothing really to worry about.

In Same Boat

I m also in same situtation, I got my EAD in Sep 07,
My Brother & Friends got there EAD in Oct 07,
( they filed the application after me ) but
they Got there EAD as well As Fingerprint,

How USCIS is working ?
