Receipt Number

Hi
I applied for I 485 on Aug 12th 2002 and when can I expect Receipt number from INS? How many weeks will it take to get the RN?

I got my receipt from VSC a more than 2 months after it was submitted by my company.

Hope the following info helps:

10/05/2001 My company submitted I-485
10/09/2001 Received Date by INS indicated on my receipt
11/23/2001 Notice Date by INS indicated on my receipt
12/??/2001 Received my INS receipt.
