  • rejection notice - what does it mean?

The rejection notice on the 485: "Your application package was submitted with a single remittance and one or more of the applications/petitions were unacceptable in the package for the reason(s) specified on the related Notice(s) of action(Form I-797). Please correct the flawed application(s)/petition(s), and resubmit the application package with the appropriate fees ans supporting documents to the address listed on the bottom of this notice."

I'm not sure what is means. I corrected the 131, and I think the ead was rejected because the 485 was rejected and the check was sent back to me.

They wouldn't reject the 485 because the 131 was wrong, would they? That wouldn't make sense to me.

Will you please elaborate more, i.e., I-131 filed for refugee travel document, re-entry permit or advance parole? I think I-485 can not rejected due to wrong I-131.
Also, please read the instructions filling for forms I-131 and I-485.

He came here on a K1, we got married before the 90 days was over, and we just tried to file for AOS, EAD, and AP. All the information is correct and nothing is missing on the AOS papers.

We received everything back, plus three I-797C. The only thing I see wrong was on the I-131, and I need to sent 3 more passport pics.

If this the only reason (I-131), then call USCIS customer service or make info-pass appointment to know more about rejection of your case.

It is advisable to send separate check for each application if you are applying for I 485, EAD and AP together.
