Our transfer date is 04/22/02. But it seems that they updated the transfer date whenever we went to the local office and asked. So we stopped going to ask them.
Everytime they gave different answers. The first time they told us that it would take 90-120 days, then one of the rudest lady told us to come and ask after 20 months.

Our files were transferred from MD.

Are you employment-base as well? You've been waiting long

We have been waiting for over 20 months now. We had first filed to Vermont office for I-485.

The application was transferred to Arlington in June, 2001. Our file was also transferref from MD office. The application is based on EB-2. What about yours?

I have been told that Arlington office takes about a year. What have you heard?

Well, I guess when an application gets transferred between local offices, it takes longer than usual.

When did you first apply for Change of Status (I-485), and when was it transferred to MD... And when was it transferred to Arlington?

Let's stay in touch and exchange notes. Is there a way to check on application status?

Seems that we are on the same boat.

We've send out i-485 application last June. and the case was transferred to the Arlington office in this April.

You can ask your local Congressman's office and ask them to check the status of your case. They have connections that will check if there is an interview set up on your case, or where they are in the processing.

Maybe you should ask your lawyer to check too. Better check before your fingerprint is expired.

          Good luck to you.
