My mother-in-law was outside US when we filed her I-130(parent of US citizen) so we did not file concurrent 140 and 485. She is here in US now in B2 visa. Her I-130 just got approved. What do we need to do, if we want to do AOS here with USCIS and not go the consuler processing route.
Also, I have another question, my father-in-law whose I-130 is also approved, is outside US. He will be coming to US soon with valid B2 visa. We would like to do his AOS also with USCIS.
Could you pls suggest, what are the steps to do that and approximate timeline. Also, could someone share their experience if they have gone through similar situation. Also, would there be issue for my father-in-law to visit us as his I-130 is already approved even though he has valid B2 visa.
