It has been over 4 months since I filed for my I485. My company is going to merge with other company soon OR it may file for bankrupcy. I do not have any problem with the project as my client assured me of transferring me to another company (if my company files for bankrupcy).
Either way, my company's name will be changed.
My questions are:
(1) Will it effect my current I-485 process, If so, in what way.
(2) I read in one of the immigration site that, Until unless INS approves I-485 within 180 days, it does not matter if one changes his/her employer even within 180 days. I just want to be really clear on that? Can anybody confirm please...?
