Make an infopass to your local District Office and find out about your case.
If your I-485 is denied, you can always re-file it, BUT... your current EAD/AP will be invalidated, so you would have to leave the job.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. That is up to your employer to decide, but you can not make money or salary or any compensation for this work.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. Tricky and leagality situation
It will be very tricky for your company to show that you're working for them without any compensation, not to mention opening up other legality issues.
In addition, it will cause a problem to the company if it's sued for any reason by their customers or God forbid if there's an accident and you claim damages.
Of course, it all depends upon your personal relations with the company's management and what kind of business they're in.
Good luck to you.
