Recd interview notice but no receipt or biometrics notices

OH FINALLY! We received initial interview notice for our form I-485 that we filed on July 18, 2007 concurrently with I-130. My question is that we have not received receipt notices, nor biometrics notices. Is it normal to be called in for interview without fingerprinting?

Also, we need to reschedule because we are expecting and our appt date is too close to our due date. I will be in my 9th month January and our appt is January 23rd. Our child is priority. Is calling the customer service number the only way to postpone our interview. Do we need doctors slips or any such things like that?

What a strange, strange way to process our papers. To date, we have only and only received notices for Form I-485. If we are called in for interview, that means that I-130 was approved, right? Anyone know this one?

You need to make an infopass to your local DO, Biometrics is a VERY important part of the process, it was probably lost in the mail somehow.
