Interview date

I received a notice for my (final) interview to complete my AOS via I 485. It is not intill 03-02-2008. I hope I get a decision on that day. The seem to be dragging this out. BTW, my kids were in JROTC (Airforce) at Anchor Bay High School for 5 years. I got to know a lot of Homeland Security, Border Patrol, and Military parents as I was active in the booster club. At a social event one night I asked them why many Homeland Security, Border Patrol, Customs, Immigration etc personell were such ignorant a **** *** at times. Their answer was a resounding "because they can be!" What we need is a new Federal Government that will not only overhaul a pathetically poor performing process, but make the people working for the various bureaucracies we have to deal with accountable, teach them manners, and have a process to review their actions if necessary that can have them removed from the system if need be. OH yes, train them to be computer literate so that we can complete forms online. That might even mean some of them could be laid off - permanently. Oh yes I do know that some of them are being paid to read comments on the sites such as this one.
