I-485 receipt

Hi all,
i filled my I-485 application about two weeks ago based on political asylum after staying in the states for more than a year! i live in WI so i filed it to the Nebraska SC ... i haven't heard anything and didn't get my receipt yet!! anything wrong? and what should i do? i thought it usualy takes less than two weeks to get the receipt. And it says that Nebraska SC are on schedule!

and, is the permanent resident adustment of status based of asylum requires an interview or not?

I think you sent the applications to the wrong service center. All applications adjusting status goes through Chicago lock box. Called and check if you check has been cashed or to costumer service
