What are a person's rights during the interview

I was wondering if you anuone can tell me what a person's rights are,while in interview. If we go for the first interview and we will get separated, can we ask to reschedule, so we can have an attorney present?

As I mentioned earlier I had an incident with the police five years ago. I have the police report and the official court documents to show that the case was dismissed, and I am planning in taking this with me at the interview. Do you think that they will make a case about of this or they will focus more on my relationship with my wife?

The point of the interview is that you are a real marriage and that it was entered in good faith and not to circumvent immigration laws.

Your rights do not change. You can bring a lawyer, but you must answer the questions by yourselves... lawyers usually do not speak at all during the interview. Usually on the 1st interview you are not separated and No, it can not be rescheduled unless something major occurs (an earthquake or something.)

We are prepared, but for some reason I am affraid that they will have preconcived idea because of my past experience and they will be tougher with us that they normally are. I hope it will not be the case.
