485 status - Stay in India for 1 to 2 years
I am on H1B visa for company A and I am at present in the US.
Company A had applied 140, 485, EAD and AP for me.
I have received approval for 140, EAD and AP.
485 is pending as my priority date is 2005.
Lets say after 180 of pending 485, I would like to resign company A
Company B is US based company which has opened its offshore center in India. I would like to join Company B in India.
Can I take a break and go to India to work for company B for 1 or 2 years and still maintain the 485 status? (if the US branch of Company B is ready to help)
If the above is possible, what are the options / steps I should take?
