hi all,
i have filed my 485 application. but i now have the following doubts:
1. since i did not have a birth certificate, i filed 2 affidavits, one by my mother and another by my uncle about my date of birth. is that sufficient or did i have to file a birth certificate non-availability? secondly i was told that affidavits cannot be from a parent. is this true? who can then sign the affidavit?
2. my wife's maiden name was hemelatha and that's how it is shown in the marriage certificate. post marriage, we had the passport done and her name was shown as hema and in all my green card related filings it is shown as hema. will there be a problem since there is a mismatch between name in marriage certificate and all subsequent documents?
kindly address these questions and the best way to tackle the same.
