What date to be considered for refering to the adjudicated date of processing. Whether the notice date or the receipt date. My receipt date is July 12, 2001 and notice date is 12 August, 2001. In what status am I now? Can anyone help me?

INS does it strangely (or randomly!), so it is hard to follow a particualr date, but normally it is RD.

Your status is 'adjsutee' which is totally valid and you are considered 'in status' until the 485 is adjudicated. Thereafter, you will be a 'permanent resident' (unless it is denied).
