Responding to RFE for Medical

I have filed by 485 without Medicals in Aug 2007 and now I have received RFE for it. Do anyone know what all activities my lawyer has to do to respond to it. I am worried that he may delay the responding and hence I want to know how much effort and paper is required. I have medical ready.

All he/she has to do with send back the RFE letter with the request medical exam in a sealed envelope back to USCIS.

Within a month, your case status should update to reflect that the RFE evidence was received... why did you file without the medical?

I didnt have any day for Medical since mine was filed on the dead line Aug 17th
