AP and How long outside stay outside US

I have AP valid till dec 2008.......i want to go for vacation for 3 months to India..........can anyone tell is it OK to stay outside US for 3 months???? OR how long can we stay out of US????

You can stay outside as long as you want as long as your AP does not expire then you will have problems.
