Change of status/Extension of stay

Hi...

I have another problem. Things havent gone to plan when it comes to sending forms.

(i am a visitor that married and was applying to change status from visitor to spouse and also apply for work permit)

We havent been able to get the money together to send forms in time (temp visa end 27/2) due to unforeseen happenings (money had to go elsewhere).


Can someone just confirm how i go to apply for extension of stay and how long (if approved) do they usually give you extra?

Any more advice?

BUT be adviced/warned, USCIS is not going to give you an extension so that you can FILE for Adjustment of Status while on a NON-Immigrant visa.

Go back home and file for a K-3.

can i send if i overstay

This is so horrible how two people in love and married cannot just be together.

What if i just apply for the adjustment of status asap...meaning overstaying a few weeks? Cuz i really dont even have the money to leave right now.

Things have just gone all wrong with money...we had it..then life issues came up
