I485 change of employer

Hi,

I got my I140 approved with the past employer. As EB dates are current, I would like to apply for I485.
Past employer is still supportive for my GC process. but my attorney is not very supportive.

What kind issues might arise if I apply for I485 ?

What can be done to prevent/ solve the problem. Like any supportive letter from the past employer ?
Is there any additional documents that I can supplement the I485 process (Like a letter from past employer mentioning future job opp.for me)

BTW, What will be the worst case scenario? Will it jeopardize reapplying of I485 ? (I mean after rejection of 485, Is there a way to restart form LC in the new company)

In case my lawyer not supporting this case, could you apply my I485?

You can do everything yourself for I-485 stage, as long as employer is supportive. No need for lawyer.
