Has you I-485 been transferred to the INS local office.

If your I-485 application has been transfeered to the Arlington, VA local INS center, please post your reply here. We can all help each other to track down how long this office is taking now to process the case.

I had originally filed my I-485 application to VSC.
PD: 12/2000
RD: 1/2001

My application was transferred to Arlington, VA local office around 05/2001.

I haven't heard anything from the Arlington office. Any clues about how long is this office taking to procces the I-485 applications.

My file was transfered to local Newark NJ INS local office on Oct 15th 2001.
I haven't heard from them uptil now.
THe phone number on the reply from INS : 1-203-240-3171 doesn't even exist.
Its very frustrating about the in-effeciency of the INS.
Keep paying the lawyers and the fees to INS to renew different things.

Yes, our files have been transferred to the Arlington office this April. Nothing has been heard ever since.
