I485 Approved Know What?

My Husbands I485 Was Approved, I Just Got The Letter, So He Should Be Recieving His Gc In The Next Couple Weeks. I Was Planning On Filling For A Divorce Either This Week Or Next Week...i Cant Take It Anymore. How Does This Affect His Status. When This Card Comes Will It Expire In 2 Years And He Would Have To File For And Adjustment For A 10 Year One, Or Will This First Card Be The 10 Year Card ( That Will Need To Be Renewed After 10 Years. The Way He's Been Acting After After Our Recent Interview I Think This All Was For His Benefit...and I Have Had Enough.

Is this employment based or family based GC? How long have you been married? Are you a USC?

If it was family based, he has to apply for removal of conditions after 2 years and would not have success at that time. But he is free for 2 years even if you divorce him. He can get married to another USC meanwhile.
