Dear Praetorian, or anyone who can help,
My friend is filing for AOS through marriage. She's been trying to get help with her case but no luck. Any input will be much appreciated.
She came to the U.S. about 8 years ago on a tourist visa. She stayed here for 4 years after that, and was out of status. When she left the U.S. she didn't turn in her I-94 form. Miraculously, she was admitted back into the U.S. on a tourist visa after a few months stay in her home country. She began working here illegally for various employers, without reporting any taxes, and has been here for additional 4 years.
My question is:
1. Is it better to report all of the employers on form G-325A if there's an evidence of income? (cheques written out to her name)
2. Is this going to affect her AOS?
3. Will she have to pay taxes for all the years she worked here illegally?
Thank you in advance.
