TSC: Finger Printing

I applied I-485 at TSC last week.

1. How long it is taking these days to get finger printing notice.
2. How much time they give you to get the finger printing done.

We are planning a trip to India, the information would help us decide the right time to visit.

Once u apply it will take 6 - 8 months.. if u have valid H1-B u can travel otherwise take Adavance Parole.

I filed I485 in TSC FEB2001 and get finger print notice in March 2002, finished finger print on 3/29/2002. I am still waiting for GC.
