I-485/ birth certificate

I recently got married and filing for Adjustment of status. All paperwork is ready except my wifes birth certificate. Is it good idea to sent all paperwork to start the case, since my driver licence is expiring, and submit birth certificate later ?

You could possibly do that and submit birth certificate when requested in RFE. I believe that is not a qualifier for a mail room rejection.
