180 day rule

Once I complete 180 days and 485 is still not adjudicated, I understand that I am allowed to change employers. Am I allowed not to have an employer (layoff)?

That is my concern too.

Somebody said it will be ok if without interview. You can get your green card just by sitting at home. But I am not sure what will happend if an interview is given
