I-485 & EAD Query. Immediate Help Needed.

Hello Sir,

My husband has filed for I-485 and also got his EAD. I-140 is also approved.
His company is a very small company and hence there is a serious risk of job security. Can he find another job and move to a different company? He filled for I-485 in July 2007 and received his ead card in March 2008.

I heared the job description and salary should be the same, is that true?
How long should he work for his current company that filled his Green card, before joining another company? Can he still maintain his Priority date after changing company?

Please let me know the risks of changing job now? Is there a safe possibility to do that? Your help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Job duties have to be same/similar to the one that the labor was filed under. Salary need not be the same and can vary reasonably. Someone in the midwest making 60k could go for similar job in california for 90k.

Look up AC21 guidelines for the job change on the website and on the forum. 180 days past the 485 days is the minimum one should work at the current company to avoid any risk.
