I went to the info pass couple days ago and the clark at the window told me that because I filed for my mother, interview will not be required and that everything will be processed from California. Is this true? I thought we have to go through the interview. Is the card going to be just mailed to us. Any experiences with that anybody.

OK, I am going to hope we don't have to go through the interview (that's what the clark said when he looked up info during info pass apointment).
Another question: My mother just received advanced parole that is valid for reentering the US till next June. If she leaves and stays outside US for 3-4 months and the approval comes or the card comes in the mail while she is outside the US, is this going to be OK. She was planning to come to the interview, but I have a feeling she will not have one. Does the card just come and when she returns she will just be a permanent resident? How does it work? Thank you for your time.

It is advised not to leave for such a long time while the GC may be approved... because that invalidates the use of AP.
Either you have someone take the GC to her and she re-enters using the GC or she takes the risk of given trouble when she tries to use AP (which would no longer be valid)./Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
