Yesterday, I saw my case tracking status says "we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you."

How many days is the average to get the GC after the card ordered? I will travel to my home country for a necessary trip with AP in 10 days, can I still return with my AP before I get the GC in mail.

Do you already have greencard stamp in your passport? If so, you can travel with that.

Otherwise you must wait for your GC. Your AP is no longer valid.

My mother is in exactly the same situation. We just got a notice that the card was ordered and she has to travel. We are getting the I-551 stamp in her passport.
I am interested to know if you already received your card since your post was from 6/17. I hear it sometimes only takes two weeks.
Anybody who got their cards can you please post how long it took you from the notice date to receipt of the card.
