485 - EB2 (Philippines) - Process Date

Cutoff date currently for EB2 (Phil) is current.
I-140 is approved.
Finger printing done.

Time line
Mar 2007 - Priority Date
July 28, 2007 - NSC Processing Date
Mar 5, 2008 - I-485 Receipt

If I have been asked for finger printing, does it mean they have began processing my I-485?

Or will they wait for the processing date to match my I-485 receipt date before it is processed?

Fingerprinting and I-485 approval are two related but still different processes and they may happen a long time apart.
