During stamping do they ask if you are still employed?

This would be of help to a lot of people who were laid off after filing for 485 and haven't found employment within 180 days of 485 application. During stamping, does anyone at INS even casually ask: Do you still work for "......"?

If you answer "no", does the green card go out the window?

Since GC is employment based you need a job, or rather you need someone who will employ you immediately after you get the GC in an occupation similar to the Labor Cert.

No Employer/Job Offer = No Greencard.
