i-485 medical exam

We are in process of turning in the 485 packet, along with the i-693 medical packet, when the doctor told us there are new TB regulations. "If a women test positive on a tb skin test she must undergo an x-ray with consent or after she delivers the baby". Well, this is a no-brainer for us...no x-ray. I don't know if I am reading the USCIS page correctly but it says exams on or before AUG 1 2008 shall use previous editions of i-693 form. (6-5-08 edition) the tb rule came effective May1.
what happens to our process if i must wait 9 months till x-ray, possible treatment then another x-ray. please read advise....

That's interesting...
I have my medical scheduled for this Monday. So the doctor should use the old form still?

Ok.. I read the USCIS page again and it looks like for those who are doing the Medical before AUG 1 2008 can still use the old form. After that, the only valid form is the new one.
