Hi Guys,
I have been working with the same employer since start. My employer initially filed my H1b based in Columbia, SC. Then he filed my PERM and I140 from the same location and for the same job. After I140 approval, I moved to Atlanta, GA on temporary relocation working for the same company, same group but providing application support for a different internal group. My employer amended my H-1b so that I can work in Atlanta.
Now I am planning to switch job and take a new position in Atlanta with a third group. But the job title is same as old. Job description is very similar as well. My priority date (April 2006) became current now. If I take up this new job within next week, can I still go ahead and apply for AOS (I-485). Or do I need to reapply my PERM and I-140? Any workarounds?
Thanks a lot,
Kiran.
