First of all, thank you for this fantastic forum. I sent my application for marriage based AOS today (with I-756 and I-131) and, if there was not for this website, I am sure there would be a few silly mistakes in my forms that I would not have noticed.
My question is, since my passport will expire in late september, and I would have to wait minimum a few months to get a new one, is it necessary for it to be valid on my fingerprinting appointment and on the interview?
That is my only picture ID, fortunately I was told I will be aproved state ID as soon as I get Notice of action from USCIS. How long does that take on average?
Also, if there is anybody who did this process at St Paul office, please post your experiences. Thank you
