I-485 Question and criminal clearance in CHina

Hi GUys,

Do you really need to submit the criminal clearance (Wu Fan Zuei Gong Zhen) in your homw country (e..g. china, india) when you submit I-485? Whatelse is needed in term of certificate? Only Birth Certificate is needed?

Do you have to submit these certificates when u sub,it I-485 or can be latter?

I thing If you chose to go for consular process then you need to submit the police report about you from your home country. If you want to get your application done in the USA then FBI will take care of it. But the time it can be a lenthy process. If i am like you ask your lawyer.

Hi adhe2002,

485 doesn't need criminal clearance from home country (I didn't need). But I think if you went for Consular Processing, you would need police clearance report from your home country.
